Earlier this month, Kathleen Farrell, a founding partner at Farrell & Croft, PC, was honored with the Arthur W. Sinclair Professionalism Award from the Prince William County Bar Association.
Presented annually at the Prince William County Bar Association’s dinner dance, the award recognizes a single attorney who demonstrates “the highest standards of honor, integrity, competency, and courtesy within the legal profession.”
For the team at Farrell & Croft, the recognition reflects the qualities they have witnessed in Kathleen Farrell throughout her decades-long legal career.
“Being selected for this year’s award is one of the greatest honors of my career,” Farrell shared. “To be recognized by peers whom I hold in such high regard makes this distinction especially meaningful.”
Farrell has practiced law in Prince William County for more than three decades and co-founded Farrell & Croft with law partner Cathy Croft in 1992. From the beginning, the firm was built on a commitment to providing high-quality legal representation while also serving and strengthening the local community.
“The practice of law has always been deeply rewarding to me, and I have truly loved every minute of it,” Farrell said. “I have also been fortunate to practice alongside individuals who inspire me every day: my law partner of 34 years, Cathy Croft, our dedicated team at Farrell & Croft, PC, and the many colleagues who make up our broader legal community.”
Throughout the years, Farrell & Croft has remained active in supporting the mission of the Prince William County Bar Association, which works to uphold professionalism, encourage collegiality among attorneys, and contribute to the administration of justice throughout the region.
“When Cathy and I founded Farrell & Croft in Manassas in 1992, we were committed not only to providing professional, high-quality representation for our clients, but also to giving back to the community that supports us,” Farrell said.
She added that the firm is proud of the role the legal community has played in helping shape Prince William County over the years.
“Over the past three decades, we believe that our efforts — and the collective efforts of the PWCBA’s members — have helped make this jurisdiction a better place to live and work,” she said.
The Arthur W. Sinclair Professionalism Award is considered one of the highest honors presented by the Prince William County Bar Association and recognizes attorneys whose careers exemplify excellence, professionalism, and service.
At Farrell & Croft, Kathleen Farrell’s recognition is being celebrated not only as an individual achievement but also as a reflection of the values the firm has upheld since its founding.
