About the Role
We are seeking a Family Law Attorney with a minimum of three years of experience to join our practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney who wants to independently manage their own caseload while having access to mentorship, collaboration, and the resources of a well-respected firm.

The ideal candidate will have courtroom experience and a strong desire to grow a practice and become a leader in the field. This position is primarily in-office, with flexibility for occasional remote work based on client and case needs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of family law experience

  • Demonstrated litigation and courtroom experience

  • Strong research, writing, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team

  • Eagerness to build a client base and take initiative

  • Virginia Bar admission required

  • A portable book of business is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis in family law matters

  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents

  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and courtroom proceedings

  • Provide legal counsel on issues such as divorce, custody, support, and property division

  • Maintain detailed case files and ensure adherence to ethical and legal standards
