Job Description:

Our robust Wills, Trusts, and Estates practice seeks a paralegal with at least three years of significant relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred.

The role entails:

  • assisting attorneys with implementation and administration of simple to complex instruments, probate, and administration of estates
  • assisting with filing, billing, scheduling, and maintenance of attorney calendars
  • engaging and maintaining client relationships
  • communicating with clients, advisors, other counsel, and agencies
  • providing general litigation support.

The role entails primarily in-office work with some limited flexibility for remote or at-home work. Excellent writing and communication skills and proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) are required, and proficiency in law firm software such as PCLaw and MyCase are preferred. The ideal candidate is a charismatic, trustworthy team player who is pro-active, detail oriented, and able to work independently with little supervision. Must have strong initiative and ability to work in a busy legal practice with a lively office environment, and a willingness to work outside typical office hours as necessary.
