Farrell & Croft, P.C., conveniently located near the courthouse in Old Town Manassas, was founded in 1992 to provide sophisticated and sensitive representation for complex family law issues including divorce, custody, visitation, support, property distribution and adoptions. 

Kathleen Latham Farrell, Esq. and Catherine S. Croft, Esq. have each successfully represented fathers and mothers in custody cases in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court and in the Circuit Court. Each has successfully litigated contested divorce cases involving complex property distribution issues including tracing issues, classification of property, division of business interests, stock options and retirement plans.

Ms. Croft is a trained professional mediator and offers mediation services as an alternate dispute resolution.  Both Ms. Farrell and Ms. Croft are skilled negotiators and resolve disputes through negotiation when it is in the client's best interests to do so.  When litigation is required, Ms. Farrell and Ms. Croft will move the litigation efficiently and skillfully towards conclusion.

Both Ms. Farrell and Ms. Croft have practiced law since 1988. Each has an undergraduate degree and work experience that enhances her legal knowledge and experience in family law cases.  Ms. Farrell worked in a private law firm and with an insurance company after receiving her undergraduate degree in Business Administration.  Ms. Croft worked for the General Counsel's Office of the Veteran's Administration and therafter in a legal services firm as a domestic relations paralegal after receiving her undergraduate degree in Administration of Justice and Public Safety-Juvenile Option with a minor in Psychology.
